Broad Bean (Aquadulce Claudia) – Is universally recognised as being best for an autumn sowing and harvesting late the following spring. Aquadulce Claudia establishes itself very quickly and will produce a very early crop.It yields well and produces tender white beans of good quality, the pods are up to 23 cm (9 inches) long. This broad bean is hardy throughout the British Isles.
Broad Bean Aquadulce Claudia originats from Spain and is a favourite for very early crops.
Longer podded and slightly earlier to mature than ordinary Aquadulce, this variety is recommended for autumn sowings throughout the U.K. for the earliest crops the following spring.

Indoors: I have sown seeds inside and transplanted after 1 month/when plants got to big for propagator. If feed with a weak Boskia Tea, they really shot up. It might be worth waiting until February to try this.
Transplant: When large enough and warm(ish) outside. Have transplanted (early Jan) to grow pots and protected them with a fleece.
Sow at 25mm (1″) depth. 3 per square in alternating V pattern.

Taller plants tend to be affected more buy frost than smaller plants.
