Pea Early Onward
The Early onward pea is of vigorous growth, short jointed and heavy cropping with well filled, blunt pods. Recommended for deep freezing. Height 60cm 2′. Award of Garden Merit. Early Peas usually ready for use 12-16 weeks after sowing.

CULTURE: Can be sown in succession from March to June. Harvest June-October
Allow 60-120cm (2-4′) between rows according to the height of the variety. General sowing and cultural instructions are given on all packets.
Grows best in a sunny position in well ciltivated soil containing plenty of well manure or compost.
HINTS: Recommended for freezing.
HEALTH BENEFITS: Good source of vitamins B1 and C plus Potassium, folic acid.
CULINARY TIPS: Steam gently to retain nutrient values. Can also be eaten raw. Recently voted No. 1 for taste by kids!
